I agree, i am not too sure either. it seems that everything is just starting to go up for her this year.
of course beauty is in the eye of beholder but to me there are far more prettier k-actresses/singers out there. it seems her most abvious beauty feature is her hight that she made sure everyone notice in You're Beautiful by wearing super short clothing most of times.
but she sure can play evil/b***h character well.

This girl's popularity is an absolute mystery to me. Her singing and dancing skills are mediocre, acting talents - limited from what I've seen so far. I'm not a specialist in korean beauty standards but if KTH and SHK are the ideal cases, she isn't anything like them. I don't think she has extremely charming and captivating personality either. So, why is she so popular?
