Your Top 5 Ost or Songs from korean drama

Hi everyone... don't know if there is a topic about this one already... But i wonder what is your favourites ost from any korean drama... The top 5 most likely...

i realize there will be a classical/mellow type (like sad things or ok with sad things) and the non classical/mellow the one that don't like sad things at all... it's fine because everyone have their own taste... just put a little description about what type you are if you want... i really just wonder what kind of songs or ost do you really like from a korean drama... and hey... maybe the producer or etc from korean drama will use this data to collaborate an upcoming new korea drama...

who knows?

lets start with me:
the classical/mellow type

1.The Legend Ost - One Thousand love year song - The Legend or The Story of the First King's Four Gods

2. SG Wanna Be, Kim Jong Wook Reverse Fate - East of Eden

3. Song of Island - Spring Waltz

4. Sang eo reul Sa rang han In eo - My Girl

5. Denizler Imparatoru - Emperor of the sea

Actually there are a lot of really great songs or ost from Spring Waltz... the one and the most that have a great ost inside it which i like... for example : one love, teardrop waltz, flower, flashback, and shadow waltz... it's hard to choose... but they are the top 5 that i always remember to search on youtube

... thanks to all the uploaders... but specially great job to all the composers... a masterpiece for me...

Well those are the ones that pops to my head. There's a lot of them.. Probably not my top 5 I might have forgotten some, but I do actually like those songs, so there.

i only started watching kdramas since Nov and because i am totally obsessed with JGS

I have only seen his dramas (Hwang Jin Yi, Hong Gil Dong, Beethoven Virus and You're Beautiful). but i have to say that each drama had a song or two that attracted my attention and made me listen to them constantly (and this is something considering i have only listened to J songs before). so here is my top songs out of four dramas

1- Goodbye by JGS in YAB.
this is my MOST favourite k-song so far by miles. i just can't have enough of it. i am actually listening to it right now as i am typing here.

2- Without words by JGS in YAB.
sorry, i said i am totally obsessed with JGS

and his voice is one of most important reason.

3- Fate by Park Wan Kyu in HGD

4-Can You hear me by JGS

in BV (again, see above reasons

)

Totally understand your reasons. But his version of Fly Me to the Moon is also good. And, contrary to what most of the people think, this is a quite difficult song to sing.
He did a single Black Engine, if you want to hear more of him:) but I prefer not so much pop from him.

And other OSTs:
Once I had a phase I listened to Goong Ost, it is quite nice.
But the worst is BOF Ost. So sweet my teeth ache

Yes. fly me to the moon JGS version is quiet good too but i love to hear him sing in his original language. his voice shows his best in his native language for sure.
saw Black Engine MV the other day too. i have exactly the same thoughts as you.

Have you seen EW 1303? There is short interview ( I posted about this somewhere:), and he sings like one line from What Should I Do? Yep, everyone saw this, but it is worth watching. He puzzles me sometimes

I wish Epic High made some OST for a drama. Don't really care about what that drama would be. I just would like to hear more of them, keke.

Full House has a pretty good OST. Not everything, but like 2,3 songs:)

i can't really explain, but sometimes when i hear a song it just stays in my mind and makes me feel really happy. so I mostly like songs with catchy tunes and quirky melodies. Since I don't understand Korean, lyrics don't matter that much. I haven't seen much KDramas, more JDramas, so I didn't really a hard time to decide

I have only one favorite OST song, which is from My girl : Sang uh reul sarang han in uh by Park Hee Kyung(Female version).

But MaWang from The Devil is very good too. It would be next on my list.

It's not an embarrassing list. There are 3 reasons.
1. Drama-OST are 99% pop and other ballads, so it kinda has to be such musiclist, which has just popsongs.
2. If you like "harder" things, it doesn't necessarily mean, you have to like just one kind of music. I for my part am a big fan of death-metal, hard-rock, but also ballads and classic music.
3. Taste is not something to be proud or ashamed of

So buck up and just enjoy^^.
