Since samurai is taking a break i decided to watch this.
It's pretty good. Though somehow i often feel that japanese don't really care about realism. I can't give any good examples. But when i watch i often think, no way a police officer would something like that. (though it's not nearly as bad as boss, or tokyo dogs, where they do really unrealistic stuff)
Also the director is a bit patronizing to it's viewers. I for one don't need a huge tatoo on a hand everytime they show that villain. He's a bad guy i get it. Now stop making it so obvious and make me feel stupid.

ok first, Bloody Monday 2 hasn't aired yet.. it will start on the 23rd of this month

You should see the first season before the second. Otherwise you might not have background information what happened before. There's a lot of twists and turns.

I think i'll just do that. not sure why i have not watched the first season. maybe because i kept reading mixed reviews about it. so many dramas to watch, so little time!

but there are some dramas that make you forget about your time once you start watching them, and Bloody Monday was one of them IMO ^^.
Hopefully, the second season will be good as well...

Nari was pretty good in his role. Evil cute guy. Hard to totally hate him. Muira put up a pretty good performance too. But I think Samurai drama showed Muira's dynamic acting better. I didn't think he could act like a clown one minute and a cool samurai the next.
i've got the episode downloaded ever since it was released a few days ago but i just finished watchin the whole episode last night.. & it was pretty shockin to see that..
finished watching the first 2eps of S1 last nighy and it was much better than i thought it would. it's pace is quiet fast but had problem finding out the evil people from the good ones. for some reasons these 2eps gave me a slight feeling of depression. i will continue watching though.

it's pace is really fast in the whole drama!! unfortunately, you will always have problems @finding out the evil people from the good ones.. but you will Enjoy anyway!

Maya keeps saying she's not a terrorist. Also she seems to be working for Otoya's dad the prime minister. Also there seems to be a fake Maya, like they're trying to frame her.
I think is the coworker/new girl following Fujimaru around. Or at least I think she's playing on the terrorist team. She's seemingly useless but is also trying to play the distraction card i.e. tried to convince Falcon to not do any more hacking.
I agree with the other poster who didn't think Kanou was the real spy. I bet Maya isn't on the Super Bad team this time, and Kanou know that.
Knowing Bloody Monday, there could be multiple spies though...
Aoi died to make way for FUJIYA. (Fujimaru/Otoya). Kidding.
But that was kind of a bummer and I still don't get why she has to die. It's not like her death really "woke" Fujimaru up since we know that he has not exactly been idle in the hacking business. He properly kept track of the people involved in the first Bloody Monday, and that shows he hasn't lost the resolve to fight against terrorists. That being said, Aoi's death kinda seemed like a waste. I hope the following eps make up for it.
If J turns out to be really dead too, that would be so much of a bummer. (Like why put him in the banner if he's not gonna play a major part anyway?) Unless this season has something to do with bringing the dead back to life (K's alive, Maya bounced back from being shot dead right in front of Otoya), then the deaths don't really make much sense (yet, at least).
I was kinda hoping for a major Fujimaru/J one-on-one, or a semi-kinda-sorta team-up with Maya (still possible) in the second season. Anyway, with the characters more of adults now, the "helpless children vs. big bad guys" element was kinda taken away. I hope the following eps will have more to offer.
why Aoi died anyway. It's like the only people they want left alive, who are close to Fujimari are Otoya and Haruka. I was suprised Aoi died. I thought Fujimaru was going to look at Myay's body, not Aoi's. Not all the KCL was pumped into Aoi, so I thought she would still be alive. I guess enough was in her to kill her. I did think Minami sounded funny when she told Fujimaru she was okay. Maybe that was supposed to be the hint, but I didn't get it.
As soon as I heard a girl humming, I knew it was K. However, I have no idea how she could've survived. I hope J isn't dead. He was the most interesting baddie. I don't care much for K or the Marksmen.

the girl looked suspicious. Right in the first scene, when Fujimari said he wasn't good at computers, she had this look that said, "I know you're lying." She's also throwing herself at Fujimaru. That doctor was really creepy. *shivers* I don't know how that lady didn't notice something was missing, taken by J? She's either bad, or out of it. Bloody Monday is like Sci-fi; no one ever stays dead.

I was so sad when Maya died. I loved the chemistry she had with Kano in that scene, I was almost expecting them to kiss.
I also love how J seems to like the doctor. It's so cute!!
We're learning how much Otoya liked Aoi. I kinda wish they'd been together rather than her lusting after Fujimaru.
Sometimes I think it would be easier to wait until all the episodes are shown and then marathon them (like I did with Liar Game) but then I wouldn't have the joy of the anticipation each week.

she is one of my most favorite character beside Otoya, Takagi, J, Kanou and Kirishima...
she basically one of the most awesome character ever...why does this have to happen, i thought she still one of the lead in this season

im just so sad they have to kill off such a great and important character of Bloody Monday so early but still keeping the useless and annoying character such as K, the new boss of Third-eye, the annoying doctor etc
but so glad Otoya&Takagi finally working together after being apart for 3 ep and they finally know Maya real identity
since season 1 after seeing her always in contact with Kujou grandpa, i know she is one of the good guy and much much better than the stupid Third-i who act more like the villain than the terrorist themselves lol
i thought that BM was good enough drama. and it kept me on my toes most of the times. my most favourite character of course it was J. nari was so impressive as J and makes you root for this evil character but to be honest K character was kind of made up and unbelieveable. why on earth K should be behind everything and is the heir to whole terrorist group when she is only a highschool student.
i don't think that is cool enough to reveal someone as a main character by the end of drama when they hardly have strong motive to be the leader. for someone at her age to have such leadership character is abit hard to believe. her beliefs are not that strong even as she is merely a teenager with lots of hormonal changes so how can all adult of that group with such smile brains take orders from her and they have J right in front of their eyes.
i kept suspecting Kano-san till the end and as i really liked his charcater, i did not want him being a part of terrorist. but Maya's character really annoyed me.
i have no idea how much hackers can do any of things that fujimaru was able to do as some of them seemed impossible to do but as i said i have no idea what can you do if you are a great hacker like him. one thing that made me wonder all the time was how he laptop survived in his bagpack when he kept be thrown out on the floor on his back

Yes, i am only watching this drama for sake of Nari. but the drama is good enough to watch. i never thought i get so much into it but S1 kept me entertained all the way. even though it gave me feeling of depression. i am also liking gentle side of Sato Ryuta and his voice.

they killed Maya! It was only the freakin' 4th episode. It's way too soon. I'm totally bummed. I loved her character. She's probably the only female villain (sort of) who didn't annoy the crap out of me, so that's saying a lot.
I thought they would kiss, too! I was disappointed when they didn't because it was such a sweet scene.

why every plot has something in common with like, 2, 3 people? Otoya found letters in the cottage that link his family to the Professor, and now is shot by Hotaru? What's with Yagi? The kid better put the gun to his own head and blow it up, instead of getting on my nerves.
And concerning Hornet - I really, really despite him. He's twisted, and bad in a stupid way.
Hope Kirishima chan won't come up as spy. Still, I don't trust Otoya's grandfather, the woman in his cabinet, and THIRDi boss.
