oh dear, this is my saying also. just so true. :lol
well, i have been into Japanese dramas/movies since i was 13-14 and now i am over 30 by some years :whistling: so just do the maths yourself. but i had a gap of some years when i was studying for my university degree and then got back to my obsession in 2003 after discovering my most beloved, beautiful and great J-actor with the name of Hiroyuki Sanada. knowing him was enough to make determine study nihongo and as i was working full time with little free time, there was no way going to any classes so i started it on my own. but it has been left aside for one or two years because life is just too hectic. or infact, i am too lazy to cut my sleep hours to study as they are already cut by my drama addiction. i remember days when i used to go with zombie eyes to work. :goggle:

i still can't say which dramas i like more. i still love my Japanese and now i am loving the Korean. i have seen over 25 kdramas since i started last Nov and the thing that made me addicted to them is the love/emotions/feelings in these dramas are very intense. something that is not see much in Jdramas. i am totally romantic person and i love romantic stories (but not the cheesy ones) so when i saw YAB for the first time, i thought i found what i have been looking for a long time.
one thing else, i fell in love with sageuks drama more than modern life ones. i look back at kdramas that i have seen so far and i see most of the ones that i really liked are sageuks. starting with Chuno (till now i still believe i can't love any sageuk more than Chuno). i love the setting, beautiful sceneries, old clothings....
i do think that Korean can make a better historical dramas than Japanese.
E-chan, can't thank you enough for the song dear. i am addicted. can't stop listening to it over and over. i need help
:goggle: :goggle:

I'm glad, love^^
I now have the saddest and heart-wrecking Korean songs on my playlist... ehh.. (and now Balbambalbam...ehh)

Actually, like Orion, it was the movies that got me into drama world, because of the very simple reason: the number of movies is limited per actor at some point of the time. So as I run out of movies, I went after dramas. But at first I was sooo biased. So damn biased.

Teroir was a nice drama, mainly because all about wine. Koreans didn't like it though...

Yes I read that about Terroir. I have a notion that dramas with more intricate background such as viniculture etc will go right over the Korean fangirls and most of the stay home ajummas.

I like wine so that drew me to the drama but I found the main story was also very interesting. I rather liked the main guy whom I had never seen before or maybe I had but he did not impress as much.

When you see some dramas you may not care too much for them but later, upon looking back, you will remember something about themand realise you want to see again
because you missed something deeper.

Exactly. And some dramas are avoided sometimes so long and in the end they turn out to be quite interesting.
Terroir was nice, but set in France, and telling the story totally different from Asian culture, plus, no hot guys in it (KNG cameo didn't help, besides, he was "unknown" back then).

The same goes for movies, I kept Rough Cut so long on my HD and why?? I guess it was all so I wouldn't bleed. Heh.

My "journey to kdrama" is a long, random one :lol started with me finding the japanese originals of all the english dubbed anime's i watched as a kid (cardcaptor sakura, sailor moon etc) then the manga addiction...then came the Death Note movies. When i ran out of those, went onto an asian drama website and YAB caught my eye. the rest is history :lol

For some reason though, Japanese music has never really appealed to me. i much prefer Korean :-)

I've been addicted to manga and animes long before I could remember. I think my addiction to them started with this anime called.... Akazukin Cha-Cha. Hahahaha.

It was a pretty funny anime, and because of that I just continued on to a lot of it, I don't remember the names of all of them, but I do remember having Saiyuki as my ultimate favorite. Hahahah.

I'm not much of a lover of music where I can't understand the lyrics, so I usually just listen to OSTs because at least I could relate to them. Mostly Korean and Taiwanese though, because I haven't really been exposed to Japanese dramas to be able to really listen to their music.

I'm excited?

I have a very short term memory, and a couple of days away from JKS usually makes me forget that he can get really, REALLY, bad. And because of this, I get excited for this show that he's going to appear in. May this... be... whatever it is to be, and may I at least be happy about it.

I miss normal JKS. I miss BV JKS. I miss when he was a man, and not someone who attempts to be pretty.

You know, since I lost my interest in everything that Princess does, I will be watching this drama for Ms. Moon.
Still, drama with Minho seems to be more interesting that one more shoujo...

Of course Min Ho's drama is as a sleazy playboy sounds more awesome. Actually Min Ho.. is more awesome. He is the personification of MORE AWESOME. He has never disappointed me yet. Not on-screen and definitely not off-screen. Man, that young man is HAWT.

Min Ho was the only male guest from Korea to be invited to New York Fashion Week.
Yes, because all females of Korea represented JKS.

Damn, he looked fashionable and like a man. Is that so hard? And he's also 1987 born.

I'm personally going to be very careful about liking young celebs again. XD

Btw, we finished Fireworks. Awesome cast, good idea for a story, but they messed it up.
The characters were way too flawed and not in the good sense. Just very cliche and wrong.
The ending and whole conclusion to the main love story was "Yay... Big whoop". Lackluster...

Still, nice cast, two handsome men in the same series and lots of skin from Ji Hwan. Can't say I didn't like that.
Shallowness aside, he's also a good actor. I mean, he's weird and all, but he's adaptable too. Like him a lot.

Ailityyyyy! My wuuuuuv! Welcome back! Man, did we miss you. Up to a point, we were fine and then it occurred to us that you've been gone an awful while. XD
I mean, I wasn't sure how long your trip would be. Twas long. Did you have fun? Is Won Bin still in South Korea and is his chastity (yeah, right) intact? Ahahaha.

Btw, my mom is reading about near death experiences and dreams and all (she's always been into that kind of stuff and loves reading about it).
She found the story of an Asian man who had a vivid dream of being a butterfly and when he woke up, he wasn't sure he was human anymore.

When she told me, I asked her "Is his name Jang Keun Suk by any chance?". She laughed so hard. I mean, an Asian man who thinks he's a butterfly.
Come on, how many of them can there be? This would explain quite a lot of his recent crazy inspirations and behavior. Just don't try to fly, hon. Won't work...

Orion, actually I don't think it was that. It was some philosopher (Zhuang Zi) that had a dream that he was a butterfly. After woking up, a relativity of things came to mind. He wasn't sure either he is a butterfly that dreams that is a man, or a man that dreams he is a butterfly.
It's one of the intricacies of Chinese philosophy (it's actually very simple philosophy, but some Taoist thoughts were complicated, like the theory about the white horse.).
http://www.the-philosopher.co.uk/butter.htm
Sorry to spoil that.

And Keunsuk is the most flashy butterfly in a real life, not a dream. In his dreams he's probably a king of peacocks (without the last part of the name).

Keunsuk as the Office Lady. You're doing it wrong.

But I see a world map there. Did somebody tell him that WORLD it's not Korea, Taiwan, Japan and China??
Damn, he was in shock I guess. He forgot to add 2 tons of bling from that shock.

Colibri? Well, this 180.4 cm speaks for itself, it's a colibri size of the ego...

This person is getting truly creepy. I feel a little distaste in just looking at that photo. It is still not a man even without the past bling thing.
I just can't put this together with the man I am seeing on TV in BV. It is playing every day here and I don't really want to watch it but I am a deer in the headlights. I can't understand the total reversal of role in this person.

Also I would like to point out that the great conductor is not the most handsome of actors. In fact he looks like a very much older Seunggi. Only Seunggi still has his youth and to me is not ugly and may even improve with maturity.

What can I say?

What if the "guy role" was his best achievement? What if what he really wants is to be a lovely S-lined lady? Let him do that, I say. Creepy or not. This idiocy will always find its niche. And a fandom of those who would write a blood letter in his name.

Well it probably was his best effort. all the bling pictures were silly and at first a joke. Now that last photo is the creepy thing. He looks normal..just like an office lady and that is what is unsettling.

Yes let him do his thing.. It is his life after all.

Ethlenn! Awful Gaysha picture to bring my back to reality! Quick! Quick, my thorn! I can never like this guy again! I forbid myself to do that! Ok... time for the "Fireworks" dance...

Edit: Oh. I'm fine. It was a momentary thing. Didn't even need the "Fireworks" dance... I'm still gonna watch it though. It's too damn shekshi and funny. Aaahh.. thank you, oppa. XD

Hahaha! You know what My GF is a Gumiho has taken my mind off of Keun Suk. It's a totally fun drama. I love the girl and even the guy's character. The entire cast is simply amazing! Even the goblin guy who didn't seem to have much facial expressions at first. But he's cute. Haha!

But I read that when he said S-line and the one about being beautiful and his presence clogging roads, they were all said as part of a joke, so these things were kinda taken out of context. But considering his recent behavior, it was understandable how his joke was misunderstood, especially by us who don't speak Korean. Hehe! :)

My mom has always said:

"All jokes are usually half-meant,"

*shrugs* I'm not expecting much for his off-screen life anymore. I've decided to like him the way I like most actors that I admire. I'll always watch whatever it is they'll do, but I don't want to follow him closely anymore because if I do, it's going to drive me crazy.Hahahahahha

Well, if the man says he's proud of his S-line and has an S-line and makes it his business to show it well, how can we know otherwise?
Did he suddenly decide to become a comedian and change his whole look and behavior for jokes? Then tell us you're now doing stand up...

I don't think so...

krynn, Gumiho is a lovely series. Love it! And yes, I even "like" the dead carp now. He's kind of cute if you give him a chance. Still sucks in acting though.
Still no news on the "rival" for Mary Stayed Out All Night. Please, please pick a very handsome man. A manly and handsome man. Not an idol either.

Meanwhile, I can finally be a pervert again. I missed that with Keun Suk lately. I couldn't focus on something sexy, cause sexy left Gaysha's town long ago.
You should see us on MSN. I drove Ara, Aili and Ethlenn mad with Ji Hwan. Ahaha. Picture spam all night. Not to mention the comments. Ho boy, those comments.
34, tall, awesome body, beautiful face, good actor and normal. Me likes. Me likes a lot. I'll only like the Gaysha again if he finds his missing testosterone.
And even then, I'll only approve of him again. The love's gone though. It couldn't handle all the weirdness. Still willing to follow his works though. If he proves awesome.

Ok, had to post this. Found by accident while looking for the dead carp's song from Gumiho (which btw is nice and makes me like him even more)

Jang Keun Suk is jealous of Jung Yong Hwa and watches porn?

......

Somehow, mentioning porn and Yong Hwa in the same interview is just naughty! Ahaha. Man. That Gaysha is too much.

Yes, this was a joke. Saying multiple times "I'm the faires of them all" is not. Let's be frank.

But one thing just makes me curious: where on this pics was Keunsuk? Cause I saw some pretty, S-lined, V-lined lady with my crocheted scarf. Where was Keunsuk??

Someone mentioned Jihwan?? Ahahahaaa... that man knows how to makes us horny...

OK, the Section TV episode that Orion gave the link to the article, about the porn and Yonghwa. And about his being proud of his figure, I guess the article didn't mention that. From his body language - he decided to be a lady and there is no turning back.
I know, I understand he can make jokes, but when his appearance became a joke, I can't differentiate.

On the happy note, there was some funny segment on Ko Hyun Jung (Mishil^^) and her "army curse", hehe. They said that every guy she was in drama with went to the army afterward, heh. So we got around 15 seconds of KNG and Jo Insung (Daryn, wuv!).

Oh I did not delete for any reason other than maybe avoiding some weird poster later on. I never thought any of it was very exciting except the old ones of Kimura. I always thought they were very cleverly done by the photographer. He must have gone to great trouble placing both of them exactly as he wished and Kimura barely (Sorry ) touched the girl actually. Those pictures were sensual. The rest of the newer ones are plain silly. They all look very uncomfortable to the point of being awkward and there is nothing interesting about them in my estimation. Sorry Jana if you were shocked.! Believe me there are much better things to be seen which are not so clumsy. I would throw a bucket of cold water on most of those youngsters

I think some of Orion's prose is much more imaginative than these photos..... :whistling:

Mmm, yummy plastic! Forget the actual drink! I'll just lick this! It tastes better so don't buy it unless you like the taste of coffee cups!

..... That's awful marketing right there. XD

Heck, he should do that. Lick a few million coffee cups and then the company can sell them with that as their advantage.
Can you imagine it? All his fangirls would get the drink knowing he's licked the can! Caffeinated fangirls... Creepy... :blink

You got the idea, Orion!! Maybe you should give them some ideas when drama starts.
Like, you know, the title is "Mary Stayed Out All Night", so the first thing that comes to mind? Why she stayed out all night? Maybe some club? Karaoke bar? Hostel?
JKS will then embrace Trojan or Durex logo.

There's a lot of money to be made and we all know how eager he is to sell out, I mean sell himself well.

What the heck is it with the cup picture?
How does he expect me to continue cheering him on if he keeps doing stuff like this? A girl has her limits you know. Grah.

:-) Jana

No wonder you look at life with such happpiness. You see the world through rose coloured glasses... I think I'll try that next time I get new pair.. You look lovely and I applaud your photography. I never get it right.

@Ate Issy; I could so hear him say that. Like... in his manly voice saying "You look FAB" but in a sing song manner. It would be so hilarious and painful all at the same time.

@Ate Orion; Thanks :) I like the car, actually. Hahahahahha

@Ate Ethlenn; Yesh. I will stay away from your men. Don't worry though, me thinks they will stay away from me too.

@Ate Peggy; I love those glasses, They were lent to me by the photographers, and I think it's all because of them that I looked nice. Because they told me how to pose, and they kept going "Nice! Beautiful!" I felt like an actor/idol/model with the whole picture taking moment.

I haven't seen the full set because they only sent over the teaser. We kinda get it next month, the whole set. :)

If you dare smile at Ji Hwan then there's some hitting to be done there as well. So you convince him to spank me... :P

If I actually had the power to actually convince people to do anything I want with a smile...Man I'd abuse it ALL to my advantage.
JKS would be forced to become manly
LMH would be forced to.... MARRY ME... and you all know what I want after marriage, eheheheheheh
KHJ would become a splendidly amazing actor
I would become president of the world
I would want a chocolate house but of course it wouldn't last long because I'll eat it. Hahahahaha

Don't become president. It sucks. Too much stuff to do. Just make Min Ho a very rich man and be his wife. Ahahaha.
