Chinese torrent trackers DOWN!

Post by furransu » Apr 26th, '13, 22:41

Well not sure if you all know, most of Chinese torrent sites (CHDBits, TTG, HDStar, HDRoad) have been down since yesterday.

The creators of HDStar got caught by the police so all other sites remain shut down to not get found.

You can see what's going on here:

Well that explains a lot. Nearly all cdrama resources (torrent trackers/forums/websites) are down/unreachable.

NGB releases are on TTG

YYeTs public releases are here http://oabt.org/?cid=21, their private releases are on ftp

bit of a knee-jerk reaction i think... Though there will be new sites popping up if any decide to close up shop.

They should just wait it out and see what happens...

Well, several sites (trackers/forums etc) that had closed off access earlier, appear to be back and are working again.

I guess most of it was just a knee-jerk reaction to what happened.

Hey guys...sorry to bring this back up from the dead but, does anybody know what's going on with TTG? the site's been down for a couple of weeks now, but the tracker is still working...

I couldn't find any news on it at all, and I know it's not down just for me

Cheers

Does anyone know? Are they down now? I was able to get on a 4:00 a.m, but it's been "no response" since then.

I believe they were planning maintenance. Since NGB changed name to DoA, there was some need of changes to user groups and other things. Not entirely sure though.

Thanks for the info. I knew they were changing, but didn't know the site would be down for the change, at least they didn't say. Thanks.

Actually they did send a mass PM out hours before it went down. But I thought it was scheduled for a later date, so I am a bit confused at the moment to be honest.

Well, let's wait and see.

Oh, I see! Maybe they went down before I saw it. But as long as it's down for maintenance, that's cool. I thought it was something on my end. Thanks again.

I really hope DoA is able to continue with their releases and aren't affected too much by this, they have the best quality 1280x720 files :(
