Firefox reporting untrusted connection to d-addicts.com
This morning, I came to the site, and was surprised to see my browser telling me that the site was untrusted.

I have never had this problem before.

Here is some more information on what is being reported:
www.d-addicts.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. Re: Firefox reporting untrusted connection to d-addicts.com
Bringing up some older threads on the matter that may be of help.
Have you tried clearing your cache?

Another thread about http:// and https://

At the moment I use FireFox v.40 and is logged in at https://
Haven't got any message like that recently.

Re: Firefox reporting untrusted connection to d-addicts.com
Reading through the posts linked to, I tested things under a variety of circumstances, and it seems that cleaning out the cache thoroughly clears it. Thanks.
Re: Firefox reporting untrusted connection to d-addicts.com
Cleaning of cache doesn't help me on Chrome, unfortunately. Guess I will have to use Firefox for D-Addicts browsing then.
Re: Firefox reporting untrusted connection to d-addicts.com
I thought it had gone, but it is back.
It is giving me the same message telling me that "www.d-addicts.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates. An additional root certificate may need to be imported. The certificate expired on 19/12/14 18:42. Re: Firefox reporting untrusted connection to d-addicts.com
Firefox and Chrome and Opera and Safari are giving me the same messages. There is no way to clear it up. Perhaps D-Addicts needs to update their Certificate.

Re: Firefox reporting untrusted connection to d-addicts.com
Now I got the message as well. It looks like if your http://www.d-addicts.com/ you don't get the message. But when you get e-mail notifications it leads to https://www.d-addicts.com/
Re: Firefox reporting untrusted connection to d-addicts.com
^ I tried that and finally managed to get back here. Is this problem a result of the upgrade/update or something?
Re: Firefox reporting untrusted connection to d-addicts.com
Thanks. I took out the (s) from the http(s) now it working again. It worked at first then the problem came out again.
Re: Firefox reporting untrusted connection to d-addicts.com
The https certificate needs updating, which is why Ruroshin has turned it off for now, and why the forum has the default style look at the moment, until one of the admins fixes the issue.

Re: Firefox reporting untrusted connection to d-addicts.com
I recently did a clear Linux install and Firefox still tried to load the HTTPS version by default. I actually prefer the HTTPS version, but the invalid certificate will probably scare away new users.
Edit:
It seems going to www.d-addicts.com uses http by default. Going to d-addicts.com (without www) uses https.
