A lot of new series used to be there but I see no activity now. Is he/ she out of town or has stopped doing? I prefer this site than others... as it makes it easy.

A pity this happens at the same time of nyaa's death
All we have left is AvistaZ, but they usually only publish DoA 720p

Yeah, I love the 480p files. Great quality for the size. I also hope furransu is ok.

Hi I found a site called 'acgnx'. Looks like an exact match to Nyaa as far as content is concerned. Design is different though. Give it a try as I did.

Re: What happened to Jdramacity?
Hi, I have decided to stop the website.
There have been multiple arrests in the last few days in Japan and they are really cracking down on online piracy. So I don't want to risk it.
In addition, I have less time these days to continue uploading.

Thank you for all your hard work. I really appreciate it as I am able to watch all my favourite Japanese actors with your help. It's so hard to find links for Japanese dramas and yours was one of the more active ones.
Once again, thank you for all your hard work and effort.

Thank you, furransu.
Also, is there any page you recommend with similar contents? I like very much your selection.
Also also, can be published a list with the previous torrent links?

Re: What happened to Jdramacity?
Wow, this is really, really bad news, I'm quite sad to hear that even though I understand your move. Still, it's such a shame, your raws always have been in good quality. Many other raws are just 20fps which are close to unwatchable for me or simply to large for storage...furransu wrote:Hi, I have decided to stop the website.

Hello,
Bummer... Sorry to hear this. Our Class thought the years acquired a lot of good dramas and movies to watch.
We appreciated this site. It was very well organized, updated in near real-time, and provided a lot of enjoyment of currently released Japanese content.
What is your next project. We'd like to follow you in the future.
bye,
ays

Sorry to hear this. Thanks for all the work you've put in (a lot of it behind the scenes and unnoticed by most) to the J-drama community. Your help was greatly appreciated.
Re: What happened to Jdramacity?
Suggestion:
For those who want consistent regular drama raws, you may want to get a reliable good quality HD IPTV service and capture/rip the videos from there.
Maybe multiple users can contribute to the IPTV subscription costs and processes involved.
I think this may be the best solution going forwards.

Re: What happened to Jdramacity?
First I would like to thank furransu for all those years, you were of great help!
As for my sugestion for new source of raws, I think we could try to use these 2 options (besides nyaa):
To download >> http://j-raws.me/
Streaming (but you will need to know the name of the drama in japanese) >> http://www.doramadougas.com/
I found the above when I was searching for this season's "Kono koe wo kimi ni"....
If you guys know any other source, please help us!
Thanks Minna-san

Can you recommend "a reliable good quality HD IPTV service"? And do you know a good source for information about the ripping process?furransu wrote:Suggestion:

Re: What happened to Jdramacity?
I'm shock to hear that jdoramacity is gone. Every week I downloaded many jdorama from furransu and now it's over. Truly sad.
Despite of that I'm just going to be grateful to furansu for many jdoramas you uploaded for us. I'm glad that you are not arrested. I went to Japan last month and people there telling me to not use any torrent or I will be arrested. And maybe Japan is getting more and more strict with pirated files.
Thank you very much for everything furransu!!
p.s. of course in my deepest heart I am hoping for you to come back someday... just hoping and praying...
