Donlysuperman said he was gonna make a string of these before after the kim hyun joo post... but they never happened so i will start a new one with the QUEEN of the PURE HEART AND ILLNESS... great acting, but thats probably b/c her roles are so similar everytime... not that im complaining... just watched Crazy First Love... not a good movie but SYJ in a swim suit!!!! HOLY MOTHER *sizzling* *computer melts* wow a definite must see with this stunning beauty...

Gotta watch that now. A really good movie that she's in is "The Classic". I'd recommend that movie. She is quite pretty.

She's an angel, no doubt about it.

Similar to Kim Hyun Joo, she's got that kind of beauty that would be recognized universally.

Crazy First Love was such a crappy movie, but CTH & SYJ are always cute together.

If you wanna watch them together in a better movie, watch Lover's Concerto.

Anyway, SYJ definitely falls into the angel category. She doesn't only look angelic, every role she has played seem to enforce that kind of image as well. And she's not a mannequin either. I think she's one of the most talented young actresses in Korea. I loved her in A Moment to Remember.

It was in Crazy First Love with Cha Tae Hyun.

I went from US movies to anime to Asian movies to Asian drama,
and the very first drama I watched was Summer Scent starring Song Seung Hun and Son Ye Jin.
In the beginning of it, she was fugly; but from the middle and onward, she was gorgeous.

Personally, she's beautiful but not drop-dead gorgeous or an-angel-from-heaven.
In my opinion she aims for the (cute), mature, sophisticated, beautiful Korean woman image than sexy.

Wasup NikeG, long time no post. Yeah, I was gonna start a stream of it but then I got a lot of work to do. Haven't had a lot of time on my spare hands, no excuse though. Just so happened to browse here right now and I saw a familiar post.

Anyways back to the subject, I rate her Angel From Heaven, for obvious reasons; gorgeous, good actress, and definitely gorgeous. And I love her roles.

Never heard of the Greek goddess, Medusa?

i've watched all her films and series, my faves are "the classic" and "Summer scent".
she's so serenely beautiful, & she seem shy and kind-hearted too.

Definitely an angel from heaven. She is so beautiful and she always portray characters that are pure in heart and soul. But I've been hearing rumors that she has an ugly personality in person. Neverthless she is still my favorite korean actress. I like her so much!

you got it right 100%. she's not suited for MY Sassy Girl type roles. she's not the boisterous kind. and yes, there are more beautiful korean actresses around. but SYJ stands firmly on her own because of her frail and unassuming mien. no other one comes close.
