Autumn story has a movie version? WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?

i heard theres a chinese movie version of endless story/autumn story.

how does that work? ppl say the movie is more touching than the drama.; Is it the same plot? This is confusing me, how can they put a 16 episode drama into a movie?

Did they RE-ACT the whole thing again? or did they cut scenes into 2 hours to make a movie?

and which one is better? and do u reconmend me watching them? what are the flaws?

the movie is just clips from the drama. They snip off most of the drama and show bits and pieces that adds up to 2 hrs.

if you watch the movie you might not really understand the story because the scenes keep jumping, but if you just want to see summary of the drama you can watch the movie

uhh..so how come ppl who didnt watch the drama but watched the movie cried and loved the movie?

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE? 16 HOURS OF DRAMA BECOMING 2 HOUR MOVIE?

WHAT THE..and it was very popular in hong kong too.

The one I have is called Autumn Fairy Tale. It's editted from the series and leaves out the side stories and most of the flashbacks that replay what has already been seen. I saw it before the series and had no problem following the story even though there were some abrupt transitions.

That is the clipped version of the series. I have that. But I guess "An Autumn's Tale" that ppl talked abt might be a HK movie, not this one. Storyline should be quite different. You can find the review here: http://www.lovehkfilm.com/reviews/autumns_tale.htm
