Your favorite K drama OST?
No doubt about it, mine is Dae Jang Geum OST. A fine album of music made all the more wonderful by the show.
i think it would have to be Stairway to Heaven for me...
the music suited the drama soooooooo well
esp the ave maria beginning... with the drums and u just know something exciting is about to happen when u hear the boom da da boom boom boom (haha my lousy impression of a drum beat)
ooooooh i love that ost.. and coincendently i love that drama too heheeh ;)

Re: Your favorite K drama OST?
Yup yup ^^ I was so lucky to get my CD for 3 bucks when I bought the dvds. I also love the music for Full House, Delightful Girl Choon Hyang, and MiSazdoon wrote:No doubt about it, mine is Dae Jang Geum OST. A fine album of music made all the more wonderful by the show.
i have listened to basically almost all the dramas and movies that i have seen and thus far i like a lot of songs, but there are only a few OST's that have every song as a winner...
1. STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN... no matter how much i dont like Choi Ji Woo this OST was and should be the prime example of a great OST where every song is just killer good
2. LETS GO TO SCHOOL SANG DOO... Every single song is incredibly good and catchy even if you dont remember it from the drama youll still love every one.... but to put this OST ahead of STH was tempting but i cant fail to forget the classic no matter how long ago ive seen it
3. SUMMER SCENT... Even though many ppl hated this drama of the seasons trilogy this was one of the reasons why i luved it better than the rest... the songs fit the setting so well and they were so soothing... (maybe b/c it fit song seung hoon and son ye jins characters so well) but its definitely unforgettable (Autumn story and winter sonata had a few good songs, but thats just a few songs not the entire OST)
4. A MOMENT TO REMEMBER... This movie was great, but the fact that all the songs on the OST were awesome amplified the greatness of this movie. The spanish songs were genius and this is the only movie OST that has a completely good OST... the rest have like half the songs are good and the rest are crap or just intermediate songs from scene to scene...
I also have rated a ton of other OST's but non of them compare to these... these were also the best OST's that complimented their respective dramas and that is key to a successful OST at least to me... if you want to hear me rant about crappy or very mediocre OST's i can do that too hehehehehe but i kno some ppl would hate me for that haha

anyway, recently I also like Bodyguard OST
Dae Jang Geum
All In
Firebird (Lee Seung Chul is an amazing singer, and I love the OST for just that one song of his, even though the other songs are really good too ^^)
I'm Sorry I Love You
Stairway to Heaven
I really love K-drama OSTs, because they tend to be so good and just moving to listen to, but these are my top. Especially Dae Jang Geum, the music to that OST is so gorgeous~.

Dae Jang Geum is a good soundtrack
Without having even seen Green Rose, I find that its soundtrack to be pretty good.
After that, I'd have to pick here and there from different dramas.
- from Sorry I Love You - some instrumental pieces and the female version of Snowflower
- from Attic Cat - Come Back to Me, and the female version of The Gift
- from Stairway to Heaven - Ave Maria, and some instrumental pieces
etc.
