I'm from Belgium... The good part, i.e. the North, Flanders.

I speak Flemish, which is basically Dutch without the horrible accent! :P

The South of Belgium speaks French.

I'm Dutch, hehe
Born and raised in the Netherlands, there's some Indonesian, Surinam and Belgium blood in me somewhere (you don't really see it though)
I've never really felt at home here strangely... don't really like Dutch culture apart from their openness to other cultures. I've always been more interested in east-Asian countries and I do plan to try my luck there as soon as I graduate.

In the meantime I just watch alot of C/K/J drama and think I'm there already :P

Hoe ik bij drama series ben gekomen? Hmm..

Densha Otoko rules XD.
This topic is growing slowly.
Which do you guys prefer; Kdrama, Jdorama, Chinese drama or others???

I started out with Jdramas. Then I watched some kdramas. I love both <3
Dae Jang Geum is a really good recommendation. It's definitely one of my favourites.

I have also watched two taiwanese dramas; Mars and Meteor Garden. They were good aswell.
You just got to love Hana Yori Dango (aka MG). I can't wait to watch the jdrama with Matsumoto Jun \^0^/

LOL, I'm the same... I watched those jdoramas you just mentioned. Though I think the GTO anime rocks completely. One of the first animes I watched, so it left a lasting impression. (Though the end was hurried). I'm just downloading as much as a can. I go by recommendations by others and just watch whatever comes my way.

Dae Jang Geum is based on a true person in Korean history. It's very good. So I recommend you check it out.
At the moment I'm downloading another kdrama which is the Emperor of the Sea. Again about an historical figure. I have yet to watch an episode, but I heard it's good aswell. I have great expectations.

I see we're moving back to english ^_^;

I don't have any preference in K/J or C drama's, every country has drama's that I love or dislike. When I feel in a romantic mood I often watch Korean drama's, Full house or My name is Kim Sam Soon. They are both so very charming.

LOL, people can talk any language they want here...
I'm just switching back to english because I'm most comfortable with this.

I guess I like a lot of series... It doesn't really matter in what language it is, as long as the plot is interesting.

Song Hye-kyo from Full House is so pretty *__*
I'm not the sort to usually comment on females looks.
(both FH and KSS were funny XD, and i just watched Let's Go To School Sang-doo ^__^~~)

PS: has anyone here seen Dae Jang Geum? >.>... I'm really curious, because I rate it really high in my book~ I want to know if others here like it aswell...

I'm currently collecting more stuff than my korean friend. She's doesn't really know much about computers though I told her it's not so hard. Tomorrow I'll be staying at her place. I'll bring some dramas. We're intending to watch those all day (and night).

We have to spread the drama love ;)

I convinced a friend of mine to watch some drama's with me. I've been "feeding" her the Mars manga (the only and first manga she's read) And now I'm curious how she will react towards the drama. Naturally I won't stop at that! Any recommendations for a first time drama watcher are welcome! (Musn't scare her off, lol)

I was thinking, Mars and Full house... pretty accessible for a drama noob me thinks!

Ah~~ yes yes,
we must spread the love. I'll tell my friend to check this site out once more. She also sent my email address to a friend of hers who's interested in watching dramas but doesn't know where to get them.

Full House is a nice first series. If you're friend liked the manga mars, also show her the drama. I think there is a good possibility they might like it aswell. Though starting with a funny series first is probably the best choice. Would Let's Go to School Sang-doo, be a good recommendation?? I thought it was hilarious in parts :) I guess you have to see for yourself, I just wish you the best of luck. Don't give up no matter what! :P

*writes it down* Thanks for the tip! :D

Don't you just hate it when some people don't even want to try watching drama's... Fortunately my friend is not one of them *phew*

@Ezz, thank you! I will not give up! "Fighting!"

aSn*GrL: zie page 1
