To add to that...Jannah wrote:Because he was the closest person to Audrey (Moohyuk's mother). He was her butler/driver & did everything for her. So it's only natural that Audrey's mother would give him the task of abandoning the babies.Quadrono wrote:How come Eun Chae's dad appears in the past scenes, and takes the liberty to get rid of the children and tell her they're dead? I thought it was him that was married to Eun Chae's mother while having an affair with Moo Hyuk's mother. And, there's one scene where Eun Chae's dad comes to the residence of Moo Hyuk, the sister and Kaichi while they're not at home and the grandfather knows him? Says he saw him loitering outside the orphanage a lot. Why did he do that if they weren't his children?Jannah wrote:No, Moohyuk's father never appeared in the drama. EC's dad also felt extremely guilty for the act of abandoning the babies. Thus, he hovered around MH's house a lot, agonizing over his past actions.
He also tells EC to stop seeing MH because he was the one to abandon MH and his sister, and he knows that MH's going to die, and that her relationship with MH would only bring pain.
Also, just because EC's dad (perhaps) loved Audrey doesn't mean he fathered her children. I doubt Audrey ever thought of him in that way. It was even mentioned in the drama that MH's father was a married director.
So don't worry, no incest whatsoever was involved in this. I hope that clears things up for you.
