--- reserved for uplaoder ---?? (uploader's comments)
--- reserved for uplaoder ---?? (uploader's comments)
This is rather stupid but I'm really curious...
Why are there so many "--- reserved for uplaoder ---" messages in the first post when a file is uploaded?
For example a person A upload drama B. In the torrent commet, A puts --- reserved for uplaoder --- message. However A is the uploader, so why does he need to reserve the post?
Or is it that A is planning to put the file info on a later date?

There are often other users got their chance to post a comment first before the uploader has the chance to post his/her own post.
So the uploader wants to reserve the first place to post further info later. (about the torrent)
*I used to think it is only for uploaders. Leechers can not download this torrent. ^_^;

it presents us with a dilemma. we appreciate the fact that people are eager to share their dramas/osts/etc. but the first post is also very important for mods to understand what the torrent is (and whether it belongs on d-addicts), and also for members to learn the properties of the torrent.
we're not asking for a NOVEL. just a few short sentences about the quality, source, credits, synopsis, etc.
if the first post is not filled with any info, it leaves all of us in a bad position. the uploader is left answering many questions, OR if s/he doesn't answer, we mods are left wondering if we should delete the torrent and deprive members of (what could be) a perfectly fine torrent.
canon05: ap's posts are fine. he gives the bare minimum and usually has the jdorama link for info. most people aren't even putting THAT much info....
i corrected the spelling .... then changed it back. ColdCell is actually correct. the comment itself is misspelled.SaNine wrote:at least correct the spelling error? or was it intentional? :/
