I love the OST
I don't think Daniel has a good acting skills in this drama. Hopefully he'll get better on future eps.
Was Seo Do-young a runaway model? I saw some of his pics on a runaway..
OH! and Choi Si Won is in here too... He acted like a stupid kid... hehe. oh well..

I like the song "ONE LOVE" FROM THE OST
The other songs i didn't like as much.
So i thought i'd just upload this song for people who want it. I believe this is the theme song.
Its catchy ^____^

Jae-ha reminds me of Kang Dong Won, although I think KDW is prettier, and has a more chiseled face.
I'm liking this drama so far; it has potential to be my favorite season series.
The drag is a given, being a season drama...but right now, it's still an endurable drag. One more thing notable about the season dramas is that they are so beautifully shot. Even if their plot stinks, they are still able to capture the essence of each season. Winter, Autumn, Summer...and now Spring. The green grass, blooming flowers, the sunset...such magnificent sceneries, even the snowy mountains and the lake from Austria(?)...wow O.O...it's almost like a postcard picture.
Eun-young's engrish is delicious. "Soorri"...so cute. I think exaggerated engrish is better than "wannabe english(lee na's)". I don't like the supporting female(Lee Na) right at first glance. Must be the gums on her front teeth whenever she smiles.

Have seen the first 4 eps and so far quite like it. The girl is really cute and one of the most refreshing and cute parts for me was when she wore the party dress and she was conscious of her attire. The way she put her hand up to cover herself was very nice, just the way I like it.

I just started watching Spring Waltz last night. and I must say that i like it very much.
like most people the main attraction for this drama is because of daniel and the director's good reputation from his previous dramas.
however, as I watched it last night, without the subs, i fell in love with the casts (Jaeha and Eunyoung) the beautiful sceneries and the soundtrack.
for those who are not sure about this drama, give it a chance. one example, most people were doubtful about goong when it was first aired, saying the cast is not great enough, and the story drags a lot, well, the ratings of goong surely proves otherwise. ( i watch goong, but not a huge fan)
currently watching spring waltz episode 5 in youtube.

I just finished the pilot ep, and I'm impressed by how beautiful each frame is, and how harmoniously the plot flowed. Obviously, a master director at work.
BUT, I found myself more interested in the "secondary heroine" Lee-na than Eun-Young. She seems like a cool, spirited, and sophisticated woman. Anyone else in the same boat?

yeah man. please do strangle them on my behalf too...
oh gosh.. i 'm really starting to love this series a lot.. i think it's one of the best out of any dramas this season and out of the 4 series, i think Spring is one of the dramas that got me really hooked. It's much better than what i've expected judging from summer and autumn.
Han Hyo Joo is really cute and so are Suh Do Young and Daniel Henny~~
hmm.. wondering if anyone here can do and upload nice pretty wallies for this series?
thanks a lot.

Production of TV Drama "Spring Waltz" Hits Snag

Actor Suh Do-young has been under treatment at a hospital after he took injuries to his facial bones during the filming of the KBS TV2's Monday-Tuesday miniseries "Spring Waltz."
On the early morning of Apr 11, Suh (playing Jae-ha in the drama) acted opposite actor Daniel Henney (playing Philip) in a love triangle situation involving actress Han Hyo-ju (playing Eun-young). In an action scene, Henney accidently hit Suh in the face with a clenched fist in a moment of "complete disharmony" between the two actors during the filming. As a result, Suh suffered a sunken cheekbone.
The accident occurred despite previous rehearsals. The production of "Spring Waltz" has therefore hit a snag in the aftermath of Suh's sudden hospitalization. A total of 12 episodes had been broadcast until April 11. The next episodes are expected to focus on a melodramatic love story between Suh and Han. The episodes will make a dramatic turn as Suh recognizes that Han was the girl whom he had met in Cheongsando during his childhood.
In an emergency conference, the production team reportedly discussed how to proceed with its schedule. The team has decided that it would be difficult to go ahead with the filming without Suh because of his heavy role in the drama. An official from Suh's agency said, "No decision has been reached yet as to whether to continue the filming of the drama without Suh Do-young. As he received injuries to the face, it will be a long time before he completely recovers. But we will know for sure only after his doctor gives a diagnosis."
"Spring Waltz" had suffered from low viewer ratings, contrary to earlier expectations. The production team is reportedly quite anxious over the lead actor of the drama being in the hospital.”

There was miscommunication between the male actors, that's all... so Daniel ended up hitting Suh Do-young in the upper cheeck/eye area with full force *cringe at the thought* As stated there he got a sunken cheekbone (not entirely sure what that means).nadesico wrote:oh my gosh I can't believe it!!I've really started to enjoy this series very much and now you tell me it probably won"t have an end?!!it'sa complete nightmare!!So the article says the 2 male characters don't go along very well or am i mistaken?
Anyway I would rather want a hiatus status on it than an actor-swithing.. Suh's role is indeed to heavy disregard, but if they change actor then I'll totally abondon that drama. It'll loose all its charm if it isn't Suh Do-young acting from beginning to eend. Hopefully he'll recover soon~~ waiting anxiously for news about how long his recovery will take >_________<

They were only 5 days from being done filming the series!!!! Talking about unlucky!
WHAT!??
this is crazy.
so ... the filming has stopped temporarily??
Hmm i think koreans are kinda weird, or rather we have different taste. I think spring waltz is one of the nicest drama this season already, and it still suffers from low ratings?
Making me wonder what will actually attract their attention.... i guess they prefer comedies in dramas huh..

Can anyone help me ID an episode?
It's a short sequence where the lead actor is meeting his pianist friend (they are talking I think.....) Does anyone remember seeing this scene? Cos the pianist friend is played by a composer/musician of the drama classic ost.... he had a cameo..... I've been a big fan of this composer for years (avatar)

The ending is not another one like Autumn Story. The director himself in a interview said that he is not going to repeat an ending he has already done cuz it will be like another "reproduction" of his past dramas and he made sure that this drama isn't like the other dramas with its cliches and stuff.
hope that helps.. and whatever rumor you are hearing is most likely not true.
-------------
another note: has anyone noticed that the day that 도영 오빠 (Do Young oppa) had his surgery was on his BIRTHDAY???!!! ㅠ_ㅠ;;;
great way of him celebrating his b-day.. -.-;; he's now 25..
anyway, I hope he's feeling much better now.. ^_^

He has no official website nor a fan club website.
if you know Korean and have a Daum account then you could join a cafe that is sorta like a "fan club" of Do Young oppa.
You can find it through Daum.net or Yahoo.co.kr (these are the Korean search engines I use most of the time.. Daum is the BEST one cuz it's more accurate to the Korean website database, just like Google and Yahoo is for America).
Hope that helps! ^,^

If you live in America... Yahoo and Google is the biggest internet search engine.myke wrote:@jimyang
Thankz for the info...
i really make me feel good lol hehehe...
Daun like yahoo n Googe...????
so can anyone that not korean can have Daun account?
before this i just only open the Daun.net webpage...
In Korea Daum and Netcitizen and Yahoo (and many more) are the biggest internet search engine. Each country has it's own search engine or use Yahoo since it's known internationally.
In order to have an account with most Korean major websites (about 95% of them) you have to have a Korean home address and Korean social security number. If you don't have one then you can't sign up. It does give a disadvantage to many foreigners, but that's how it has been for many years. I don't have a Korean permanent home address or social security number (I used to, but I lost mine few years ago which sucks and I can't get it back) so I use my cousin's.
Bad news: If you don't have a Korean social security number then you can't have an account at Daum. If you have Korean friends or relatives who live at Korea then you could ask them to use their account. Also it would be a BIG plus if you know Korean so you can surf the website more easier. ^_^
Hope that helps. ^.^
where are you reading the spoilers?nrg_hot330 wrote:Aishh... i can't help reading the spoilers. and i don't want to. i want to watch the drama myself....arghh what should i do???
if you want to watch the drama.... you can watch the drama on youtube.com without any subtitles. This is what I do since downloading takes too much time.. you will be watching it stream. Subtitles will be added about two to three weeks later if you don't know Korean and want to read it with subtitles.
I believe they have it up to episode 12.
Hope this helps. *^_^*
OMG, I really like this drama. I don't know why. Is it because I did not expect much of it at first? Anyway, I just can't wait to see the rest. Hope SDY will recover soon and they will continue this serie asap. Danny is doing a much better job than I thought, but he looks a bit weird in this serie, I must say. The make up is sometimes too obvious. And the lighting..?. This SDY is really .....hmm .. I just can't keep my eyes off him. And the girl lead is also very good.
Thank you thank you thank you for this info to watch Korean TV live.
