Oh for the love of god, spare me those >.< the music is horrible to me. I grew up listening to daddy's OLDies ^^. The newer songs tend to have crappy lyrics and sound "try-hard" as my sister puts it. Mom and dad used to watch it all the time but i know for a fact that old people love it, so just sit grandma there... and sneak out quietly! :thumleft:

There's a viet community in Toronto, but i'm white washed, like a twinkie and by twinkie i mean yellow on the outside white on the iside... not the other context.

As to writing viet, i'm fairly decent. I can't quite get the ˜ (ngã) and hoi (i can't find the keyboard shortcut for it on my mac, i love keyboard shorcuts :w00t:). Mom made us take lessions, and then she taught us herself at home.

And for reading.... i sort of just guess what the words are quickly, ie: you see the word Banh... and it's bound to be followed by some kind of banh that i know, so i guess what the second word is, otherwise, reading viet makes my eyes hurt. Works for me

wahhhhhhhhhhhhh *jumps into a pool*

A late comer... but hey, I'm Viet too!!!
I enjoy fobbish hobbies such as...
watching Thuy Nga videos and obsessing over Nhu Quynh, Quang Le, and watching and listening to cai luong without scringing... even though I was born and raised in the US
I also enjoy C,TW,K,J,HK, and of the like dramas, anime, and manga.
Does anyone here watch Viet dramas??
Yes, they do exist.
I've only seen Luc Van Tien and Nhung Ngon Nen Trong Dem... impressive stuff in my opinion.

The one i watched deals with two guys who are really close friends, but they like trouble makers.....sorta say like gang members type. These guys have crush on Satomi and its really funny.

ummm they are like rivals against these two other guys from another school. They really strong and end up fighting in the end.

Hope I didn't ruin too much of the drama for you.

Not as funny as "they smell like dog crud". lolzz...I don't think that viets are bad, I just think that vc are stupid. They think that they're awsome. I heard from the news that they're sending people to Korea to learn about korean life-styles and then copy them.

That would be the stupidest idea ever. No offense to koreans, its just that vietnam should create thier own culture. Yea there can be influences from the neighboring country but to copy them is just stupid

I just recently got addicted to Jdrama shows. Actually, to be specific, I got addicted about four days ago....but now I'm a die-hard fan for JDrama and singers. Ha ha. *notice avatar* Yup, and I just got to know YamaP in four days too and yet he is my FAV. Jsinger already. lol.

Jsinger already. lol.

Did you watch him in DragonZakura, Nobuta wa Produce, Lunch Queen, and Kurosagi??
Of these 4, I think his best performance was in Nobuta wa Produce. He was funny :lol

They do.

Yoshitsune is one. I think Shinsengumi is another....I might've spelled it wrong.
I'm not into the old ancient time drama. They tend to be really long serie with a story line that drags :roll

second: type the name of the J-drama in search box
third: copy the torrent links like K-drama

Be proud viets...

The singer, whose real name is Chung Ji-hoon, is set to arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport at 2pm June 8 and will perform at the concert due for 7:30-10pm at the Military Zone 7 Stadium.

Rain will perform six solo songs, including one in English, before joining with other artists to sing We are the world.

Appearing together with Rain will be the 12-strong dance troupe MB Crew (B-Boy), which has won many awards in the Republic of Korea, and Jewelry, one of Korea’s leading girl bands, which performed in Vietnam earlier this year.

Rain’s performance in Vietnam is a major musical event in South East Asia and his appearance on the six-meter-high stage in HCMC promises to be impressive thanks to special equipment used to deliver his show.

A Korean television channel will also carry out Music Video program during the S-Fone concert.
