i knew Misaki Itoh was going to be in the lead.......no surprise there~

but I personally voted for other! the other being: Takeuchi Yuko

I think it's her character that makes her sexy~ She may not have that oh-I'm-so-sexy-look-at-me air, but her whole-hearted smile and quirky being makes her sexy in her own right!

Sexiest Japanese actress? That's easy. Hands down, it has to be Nakatani Miki.

Or Yamaguchi Tomoko. Yeah, Miki or Tomoko.

Or Uchida Yuki. Miki, Tomoko, or Yuki. Or the other Yuki, Nakama Yuki.

And you can't leave out Shaku Yumiko. Man, that's some sexy girl. She and Yonekura Ryoko and Matsu Takako and Asano Atsuko and Seto Asaka.

So that's it. I've got it narrowed down to just those few. Except of course that you have to include Kanno Miho. And the Ichikawa girl is coming on strong. And oh Jeez! Did I leave out Mizuno Miki? Where's my head? And Fukatsu Eri is pretty darned hot too. As is Uchiyama Rina.

This list is far from adequate. Someone needs to compile a list of all possible candidates/actresses/singers/idols/whatnot - along with pictures - and then make a poll to narrow down the top 10 or something. The poll should last a month or so to allow everyone the chance to vote. Then another month for the final poll to determine the sexiest. Perhaps someone can create a thread so that everyone can submit their candidate(s). This way we will be introduced to people we might not have heard of or seen.

I am suggesting this because everyone has their own taste and preference as to what constitute sexiness. What you think is sexy I might not agree with and vice versa.

I don't know a couple of the actresses listed, but my first thought when I entered this thread was Kou Shibasaki. I'm surprised she wasn't included in the list. Anyway, I think Kou Shibasaki is so versatile. She can look cute; she can look sexy; she can be funny; she can look evil. But this stuff aside, I also think she is incredible beautiful, so I had to go with "other".

BTW, that picture of Misaki Ito is really cool. I didn't know her torso looked so long. By far, the best of the provided pics.

Wow, so much nice actresses! I voted for Misaki, although it was really difficult to choose. But you know, in my opinion, I think there are normal japanese women that look just as beautiful if not more beautiful than than than some of these actresses. Don't get me wrong. these actresses are gorgeous, but still, I've seen some Japanese women that just blew me away. Nice thread though. I've been waiting for someone to make one of these.

Actually I have a crush on Kou Shibasaki ! She's so beautiful and cute in Orange Days and I find her so sexy too so one more point for her ! ^^
except that, I also find Aya Ueto (the way she was in Tsabasa no Oreta Tenshitachi), Itoh Misaki(in Kiken Na Aneki) and Yui Ichikawa(Kurosagi) greatly sexy and also Toda Erika( from Death Note, Gyarusa, Engine etc...)

For all of you people who are voting for Ueta Aya. She is 3 feet tall and probably weighs less then 60LBS. She is soooo small and I am sorry, but she looks like she is 14 or 15. She is cute like puppy, but not sexy.

OK, Yukie is the the sexiest. However, she is also enchantingly beautiful. Itoh Misaki isn't bad (big understatement), but Yukie is Yukie - I mean come on, look at her.
