Not if you use a free image host. People on dialup just get really slow page loads.

Aye, even if they do run out of space, they usually will update if needed. Besides 100 tera bytes...thats alot of pictures especially if each one of them were all 250kb in size...alot of room....oi

righto! people usually will reupload the pictures and get away with them (if they're over 1MB in size) for maybe another 2-3 weeks or so.

250kb isn't really big considering most animated gif files are around that size and even larger.........so considering on how many posts you have, then you know how much bandwidth your picture is taking up.

Ok my sig and avy are back up. Created another new sig, this one is based of the Gokusen first episdoe as it was used to introduce the characters in the show. Blue section refering to title and yellow section reffering to name..I am trying to mimic the lighting effects (with little avail) but its close enough...has my name and my current working title (^_^).

Hm...just made this new tag/av set. I am not skilled with Photoshop, so mine are always simple. But I've been very into L'Arc~en~Ciel AWAKE Tour 2005 dvd lately (watched it 5 or 6 times already

), and Hoshizora is one of my favorite songs on the album. It has such a beautiful message. You should listen to it if you haven't heard it yet.

(If you look closely at my avatar, Hyde has a tear rolling down his cheek. You can't see it so well, since the picture is so small...)

LOL, ironically I just changed both this week. The avatar is in honor of one of my favorite He-man characters (couldn't find a good pic of Teela), b/c my friend recently bought He-man volume 1 on DVD. It's so nostalgic and great *__* Yes, obviously I'm an 80's child. I grew up w/ He-man, She-ra, Jem, all over the TV. Name almost any 80's cartoon and I'll probably remember it fairly vividly. On another forum I had a Jem avatar but I forget where that was.

I couldn't find the old thread for creating animated avatars and signatures. But here's a more recent one which hopefully might be of some help to you. *I recommend using Virtual Dub, it's simple and works like a charm~

and this one teaches you how to take snapshots with your player.

oooooooh! jaycee's new signatures are pretty cool! and it's great that the first one's size is only 70 KB. it's usually really hard for me to keep my animated signatures under 200 KB (unless it's really really simple).

and i agree with you jholic-san, neokenzo's signature's looks great........but the size is really big = 1598.68 KB!
