I'll vote for other. Right now I think the cutest actress is Liu Yi Fei (Crystal). She is soo adorable.

I say this one looks better than any of the ladies in the poll. She's a new actress. She will star in the next Duke of Mount Deer(Same Executive Producer of ROCH '06). Too bad Crystal Liu turned it down. Would have been great to see Crystal and this new one in the same series. Agree?

I voted for Vicky she is my # 1 favorate actress from China. I wouldn't say she's the prettiest but she is the best to me. I also like Jessica, Alissa.

i hate remakes...they are so dull..dont know what the hype is all about....i was really against another one of ROCH 06...nothing new and orginal...just that the cast is all hotties..

Crystal Liu Yi Fei is by far the hottest (career wise and looks wise) Chinese actress to date. She was so adorable and lovable in Xian Jian. By the way if you have not seen that, you must watch it just for her. Makes you want to just give her a big hug!

people usually dont praise an actor/actress's acting abilities. jolin/hyori/britney arent the greatest singer in the world but they are great entertainers. if you succeed in fame/money from what you do ...isnt that enough? who cares if you cant sing/act/etc...if you get the money/fame...you have succeed.

One thing I always deemed strange about Chinese (especially Taiwanese) actresses was how freakingly skinny most of them were. Now, I'd say Korea and Japan are obsessed with thinness as well, but I have yet to see a major Japanese or Korean actress as anorexic looking as Ruby Lin in some of her works and Angela Zhang in all her works.

As for the voting, VIVIAN HSU is definitely extremely pretty and Rainie Yang is the personified sweetness of about a mansion full of candy. Considering the never-wavering popularity of Meteor Garden, I'm very surprised nobody has mentioned Barbie or her female co-star in Mars yet!

I think many many chinese actresses are pretty but the ones that really stick out of my mind & have made an impression (looks-wise and acting-wise) are:

YANG MI - what a gorgeous girl....she looks like an Asian Audrey Hepburn

LIU YI FEI - I'm not a fan of her, really, but she is very pretty, esp. in ancient clothing

VICKI ZHAO - just plain cuteness and she's very versatile as an actress

CECEILIA CHEUNG - this is ONLY before her anorexia began....I loved her when she was about 18-20 yrs old, when she was most wholesome and lovely.
