lol..never knew her name, only her face..I always see her in the horror/creepy dorama/movie..She is like princess of creepyness, but at the same time beautiful in a mysterious way..I think it's her hairstyle and eyes that make her look like that..hehe

It would be nice if you cite your sources when copying off lists of info...

imdb isn't really accurate, the lists there, especially of actors who're not in the US, are often horribly incomplete. Kuriyama's isn't an exception. The list's lacking Rokubanme no Sayoko, where she appeared with Suzuki An. And, of course, it's also lacking the two TV specials Jooubachi Kindaichi Kousuke and Woman's Island from this year.

I still think Kill Bill was her weakest performance ever. Not her fault though, playing a character with the charisma of a postbox (thank you Tarantino, team up with George Lucas) can only lead to feeble results.

Now Mizuki in Kagen no Tsuki, yep, that's a great performance by her.

I never heard of those two specials. can you give us some info?? Jooubachi kindaichi kousuke isn't part of the kindaichi shonen series, isn't it??
And is rokubanme no sayoko a movie or a drama??

The two specials:

Rokubanme no Sayoko was a tv series where Kuriyama played alongside Suzuki An. Kuriyama played Sayoko, who returns to the same school every so often in a couple of years (I think every three years) to help a chosen girl with tasks that would protect the school for another cycle. In the series Suzuki was the chosen one, and yes, Sayoko is somewhat of a ghost (that's the best explanation I have for her form of existence). The chemistry between Suzuki and Kuriyama in it is absolutely perfect.

Darn right. I loved her in that movie. :lol
She's Japanese, but she doesn't look Japanese. Her nose is a bit different. (Wow, my comment sounds weird.)

Wonderful actress.

Yes, big, really big! I think that's why she got the part in Kill Bill, Tarantino seems to like girls with big noses like Uma Turman. :)

Well......one thing for sure. She got a body.

I like her a lot!! She can be so beautiful and scary at the same time!!! It's incredible that at first i did not think of her when i started making my ideal casting for a possible dorama based on "Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge" manga!!.
There is a magnificent web page dedicated to her that i use to visit to see her photos http://www.chiakikuriyamashrine.com/, they have an enormous collection!!!
Following the last post i have to say that i prefer her with long hair.

It's a wig.

How long till "EXTE" pops up on DVD? Can't wait to see her in that one.

If you don't mind, can you show me your ideal casting for this?

I was thinking in my head either Chiaki or Kitagawa Keiko for Sunako....since they both have nice long black hair :lol
