Age / How Old Are You?
Hmm... I'm in currently in the 7% range. Does that make me a minority?
What I find interesting is that the site brings together such a large range of ages as well as ethnicities. It's nice to be able to interact as equals without worrying about where you're from or how old you are.
Besides, where else can you find a 35 year old grown man begging a 16 or 17 year old for a reseed or something? Personally, I find it hilarious, but in a good way!
Too bad people judge so much by age/sex/race, etc. in the real world. Oh well, no worries about that here!

Well I can tell you right now you dont want to be one year older. Im 19 and making time for dramas is hard. Sleep or watch some more dramas? That runs though my head everynight. I wouldnt mind being 65 right now. That would be awesome for about a month. Then i would of watched everything and be super board haha.Morning_Glory wrote:18
I wish I could be older so I can watch the dramas w/o worry about my grades

We need to get those Japanese blue laser drives soon so we can squeeze 20 Gb or more onto one disk.

im 24, and not feeling particularly young
somebody saying about the years going by faster. well i heard once an interesting theory that goes like this:
for example
the year up to your 18th birthday is/was 1/18th of your life so far
the year up to your 24th birthday is 1/24th of your life so far
the year up to your 40th birthday is 1/40th of your life so far
well you get the point, relatively speaking, successive years, although the same length, seem to get shorter if you compare it to you years on this earth.

Just turned 25. Passed my quarter life crisis and now enjoying my new age bracket. I guess you would include me in the young professionals as long as I still dont act like the college head...still working on it
Don't feel too bad Aznkoodies, I'm Mexican and dont look remotely like asian yet some pple think I'm a 17yr old chinese girl! Go figure!
Tell me about it. I'm 19 and about to turn 20 but I get so many ppl who come up to me and ask how old I really am. They responded that I looked like a 15 yr old and one lady told me I looked 13, wtf..quote]aznkoodies wrote:BT907 wrote:28 but i look young. i guess that's cuz most asians look young. LoL

it's my height...i look a lot younger than most of my friends, even though we're mostly an asian crowd. i'm usually the shortest one around them which is ironic because all throughout my high school years, one of my best friend was like 5'7 [which is pretty tall for an asian girl meanwhile i was and still am 4'11 1/2"]. so walking through the halls together, i'd always felt like a freshman amongst everyone.
what's funny was that a few years back when i really was a freshman [in college], i was shopping during the daytime and truency [they're the police officers that catch high school students playing hooky] pulled me over and asked why i wasn't in school. i told him that i only have class 3 days a week...and to prove that i had to pull out my driver's license to show him my real age. weird thing is....my looks and height haven't changed a bit, but i haven't gotten pulled over after that...............

I have seen it several times and LOVED it! This is the first time I am "meeting" anyone else who has seen it.BT-Slut wrote:Ah... Valmont. That was a great film--better than the other redention Dangerous Liason I think. It's rare to meet another person who've seen it. I loved seeing Meg Tilly in that awesomely bright Red cloak.Peggy wrote:Colin Firth's Great Aunt in the film 'Valmont'

When I was 17-18 I would go to clubs bars whatever and i would never get carded. Turned 21 then blaamo, Asian gene kicked in and I was carded left and right. Now I am in shhh, category 5 myself and you know what I still get carded. Now after hearing for years how I really look good for my age, I am just darn tired of hearing it. Now I don't go to clubs or bars so much nowadays, because nothing is as disheartening than talking to an early twenties cutie who comes up to you who is obviously interested until the conversation turn to age. Nothing will take the smile off her face and mine as quickly as when they find out how old, yeah old, you are. Age might be nothing but a number but damn, those numbers are beginning to add up....sigh (':D') Ah hell at least I look good for my age.

Just like women would say, you have to use what you got, before you lose it LOL.
I'm well up there, and still get carded.
It's ridicoulous when you have a three day beard and they card you for smokes.
I normally point to the beard and say.. hmmm looky here... dude it's grey ok.
