This was a great drama with great actors and actresses. Makes you wonder about like, you know. That anyday and anytime you can... die (but honestly, if you needed a drama to tell you that, you need to work at a hospital or something...or watch the news :|).

I do recommend it to everyone though. Are there any nonfiction dramas like this (perhaps more light-hearted)?

I just finished this drama today and I watched it all in one sitting. It was so sad I cried so much...and to think that this drama is actually based on a real story makes it even more sad.

I seriously regret that i didnt watch this drama earlier. I thought it was going to be a boring drama, so i watched HYD instead. Boy, good thing i was bored one day and felt like watching drama and 1LOT showed up on my youtube search somehow. I was like "meh why not?" :P. This is seriously, i think, the only drama i have ever seen that makes me cry so much. The doctor in the drama is seriously a really nice one. He battles with aya for 10 years. Thats truly some devotion. By the way, does anyone else have an urge to cry now when watching the first episode again? Makes really me depress when i see aya so outgoing and healthy in the begining, but you know what she is going to experience later on.

That's right, that's the feeling I feel when I rewatch 1 Litre of Tears. I can't help but feel sad (and happy!) seeing her so healthy.

Damn, the thing is, I live in Australia where download quota is severely limited, unlike Asian countries such as Singapore, Taiwan, China and Japan where true unlimited can be obtained.

Only 30 GB / month, and then speed capped to 64 kbps (from initially 10 mbps).

us in malaysia aint any better then you.. although they haven't set a quota on bandwidth yet which i think they will soon.. but they have severely capped the p2p bandwidth from international peers.. we are basically crawling at 0.5-5kbps 24/7 if there ain't any local peers on the same torrent.. :cussing: :argue: think we are a bit out of topic now.. hahaha :alcoholic: sorry groink.. :P

i voted LIFE-ALTERING

because honestly..

that was the most touching drama I'd ever seen.
The actors were amazing.
They really drew you into the story.
And captured your heart.

I cried so hard the first time I watched it.
I cried even harder when I saw it a second time a year later.

it's THAT GOOD!

And being that its based on a true story, it grabs at you even deeper.
Her words truly reach out to you. I know it reached out to me so much I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

{{ gawsh.. didn't mean to get all mushy-gushy.. but man.. its the truth }}

u know a drama is worth the watch when it really captures your heart.

yeah, this show is really really good! hmm.. ive a qn though..
in the last ep, why didnt haruto see her when she died/visit her grave on her death anniversary? or is it because after she told him to live on.. that just ended everything? :scratch:

but that was just a random thought. hehe i liked it though.. i was so reluctant to watch the last ep cos i didnt want it to end.. and the theme song fitted it so perfectly. and its so touching, how she strives on, how she and her family live.. hehe
like, how ako changes her view of her aya.. standing up for her (scolded the brother and all), even wanting to get into the same sch so that she can help aya.. shows how her siblings matured and how they just whole heartedly love each other..

The thing is I wondered that too. But then I read somewhere that since the drama is based on a real story; they wanted to make the ending sort of real and since Haruto wasn't a real character ; he wasn't there ? Not sure; but I think that's what I read. o_o;

&& This was the most saddest drama I've ever see x_x; I truely loved this drama :D
Made me cry in every episode yo =.=;

be careful, it can be a spoiler if you haven't watched all the drama yet.

Taken from tokyograph wrote:Fuji TV has announced the return of the 2005 drama series "1 Litre of Tears" in the form of a drama special, which will air on April 5 at 9:00pm.

The special will take place half a year after the death of Aya (played by Erika Sawajiri). The story will focus on Aya's sister Ako (Riko Narumi), who is aiming to become a nurse, and Aya's classmate Haruto (Ryo Nishikido), who has become a doctor. The special will include new scenes during Aya's lifetime, so Sawajiri will also appear in the drama.

oh ごめんなさい。I guess I got carried away with the little bit of 日本語 that I know. I said:

沢尻エリカさんが大好きです。
Sawajiri Erika san ga daisuki desu.
I like alot (love) Erika Sawajiri.

ごめん、ね。 大学で日本語を勉強しています。
Gomen, ne. Daigaku de Nihongo wo benkyoushiteimasu.
Sorry. I am studying Japanese at college.

So I just try and use it (preferably, correctly) as often as I can. Again, sorry about that though.

I just watched this series and i am so glad i was on spring break when i did. It would have been a struggle to hold back the tears in front of my roommate =0 . I just started watching japanese dramas recently and this was my 3rd one. I have never cried so hard at anything in my whole life, not even the death of my own relatives. Truly a life altering series.

it teaches us to live for the moment while we have the moment. I cried one litre of tears.

yeah actually it's exactly the same as clubbox but in a different language....OH!! i'll give u the direct links instead so when u try to download it the install manager would come up... and then just do the exact same steps u did to install clubbox...

Part I: http://down.gogobox.com.tw/dokun/idn2
Part II: http://down.gogobox.com.tw/dokun/9nn2

the whole thing isn't up yet... they've been uploading it in segments.... so far two have been uploaded...don't know how many more are there....

Is the quality of the version you downloaded not very good?

haha. you can tell me how good this version is...
sometimes i find d/l other ppl's version not as good as the ones posted on here. but of course, sometimes they're the same. this time i'll wait for the sub eventhough i really want to see it right now!

Sure. :lol
Literally every minute or so I look to see how much longer the download is going to take. :goggle:
I'm waaaaay too impatient, I wouldn't be able to wait for the subs.

There are sendspace (for part 1) & mediafire (for part 2) links up over at http://z13.invisionfree.com/master_key/index.php?]Master Key Forums~

we're technically not allowed to repost links from there onto other forums, but yes, you can find them uploaded at MK~
