i've read the manga, and with that in mind, i'm kinda a bit disappointed with it. BUT!! if i take it on its own and set aside preconceived notions from the manga, i TOTALLY LOVE IT!! the mix of romance, crack and touching moments are just right.

i just wish they'd stick to the personalities of the characters, i wont mind as much if they make them do whatever they fancy, so long as the characters aren't melded into completely different ones. cause i notice that sano's made out to be like the loner kinda guy, nakatsu's like too wild, nanba too hyper, hibari was turned into a diehard fangirl, and from the looks of it, hara and karasuma got fused into one! *poor akiha, reduced to a mere photographer selling uchiwas and photos. T>T i kinda liked akiha.... now no one will molest umeda *

I don`t think the subs are out yet.. I checked BON Funsubs page and it says "translation is in progress". And the subtitle thread for hana kimi only said "upcoming", and i didn`t find it...

i've read the manga and yeah, they really did skip a lot of parts. its okay though cause the manga is too long to be fitted in 12 episodes.

wish they'd extend it or something cause i wanna see more oguri shun and maki moments. hehee.. hey, im kinda wondering, this is maki's on screen kiss right? cause im sure i never saw her kiss yamapi or kame...

there isn't a topic yet for subs by BON cuz they still havent release the first episode. subs are only out at arashi.vox

i thought the part where Kayashima (ghost guy) told Nakatsu about his grandma part was pretty touching. aww...and the swagger Nakatsu did when the ghost guy appeared and scared him after he made the phone call is funny.

Again I feel the big difference betwwen the TW & this one.. I dun't hav intention to compare, just that I find this vers deeper, the characters are more 'human' & 'real'

That file is a standard divx avi, it can basically play on anything as long as you have a divx codec.

Soft subs, you need to go and download VobSub.

I just watched the first episode of Hana Kimi and wow.. I'm sooo impressed!! Maki's acting was really good! I didn't know if she could pull it off (especially since all I've ever seen her play are the quiet roles ie: Nobuta wo Produce, Kurosagi) but she was really good as Mizuki! Everyone was really good. I love Toma and Shun

! I don't mind the writers not sticking to the manga, as long as they write a good script.

I watched the TW version and there's a BIG difference between the two. In the TW version, I really didn't like the way the lead girl played Mizuki. She was really bad. I couldn't stand seeing her and when I heard her voice, I cringed a little. She screamed dumb to me for some reason. The ending was

..was there even an ending? I don't remember that last episode too much but didn't it leave a cliffhanger? Sorry if I offended anyone, I just couldn't get myself to like it.

I'm soooo glad arashi.vox is subbing this for us! I remember waiting for her subs for HYD2, she was fast then and she's even faster now! THANK YOU ARASHI VOX!! This is gonna be a good summer for dramas!

Download vobsub and install it.(google! easy to find)
Name the subfile exactly like the dorama is named.
Open with windows media player / windows media player classic / VLC / etc. and it should work.

The Taiwan version is in 2 parts , so yes , it ended on a cliff hanger. I never really liked Oguri Shun , but I have respect for him since he's been in some of my all time favorite dramas.

I think all the characters could of been done alot better , Wuzun is much better as Sano imo. I think Ella and Mika are tied , as for Nakatsu , I like the TW actors better. I dunno , it may have had less of a budget , but I belived Wuzun more than I do Shun.

=x I plan to continue watching it, just because I like the story plot , and like I said before it's not bad. I'll just have to seperate the two for the most part. =>

I'm not going to say anything cuz I don't want to spoil for those who have not seen the first epi, but wow I must say I love Oguri Shun with black hair LOVE IT!!!! He is sooooo sexy I love him and Horikita Maki does her job amazingly I have nevr read the manga or watched the taiwanese version I juts know sort of like basic plot of the story but I love that Maki can pass off as a cute boy, I find that I wasn't a Toma fan before (Hana Yori Dango 2 scared me with his smile) but now I'm like awwww Toma you're are kawaiiness

Ok enough rabbling I hope you guys enjoyed the first episode I'm so looking forward to the second one.
