ppl from different regions are in d-addicts... i'm interested to know from where the majority are
Options are:
1.North America
2.Central America
3.South America
4.Europe
5.South Africa
6.Middle East
7.Southeast Asia
8.North Asia
9.Oceania
10.Others (incase i missed something... tough i think i've listed well abt enough >_<)
And do u think Asian dramaz are popular in ur country??
4 me I was shocked to learn that many members are from UAE
... Animes are quite popular here, sometimes you find them in internet cafes, but not dramaz...

ya true, that's how i got into the drama world in the 1st place
All my friends watch eng. series... they keep on discussin them and i'm like in a toooootally different world
very few of them read manga and watch some anime and might have watched 1 or 2 dramaz (after naggin @ them ofcourse lol)
But i dnt think asian dramaz will bcome as popular here... maybe coz long complicated stuff that are 99999 episodes long are favored!
+ the media here is so far away from Jp, HK, Ch Kr... and if they ever put an asian drama they dub it >_< (like the korean drama "sad sonata" that's beeing aired... sux big time -_-)

technically speaking, we already have a thread for this:
http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_9023.htm
but you have more poll options, and that other one is quite old. i'll let yours go, but i edited the title a bit.

Arabic writing is so beautiful...
I'm surprised to see to many people from the Middle East. I didn't think that Japanese things would be so popular there.

I am from Eastern Europe (USA during school year)
In my country there are not a lot of people who know about Asian dramas, but actually last week on one of our channels the showed a Korean drama All In, and a lot of people liked it.

From Europe, to be specific UK.
Asian Drama's are almost unheard of here. I don't know anyone who watches them apart from a handful of friends who my brother recently introduced dramas to.

from North America, U.S. and Mexico...
i started watching Kdramas and Twdramas in LA because there were two international channels[yeah theres a strong asian community there so its only right they get their own channels] and during the night there were K and Tw dramas... but i liked anime/mangas before dramas... so i was on the path anyways....

I'm from Europe---->Finland---->Lapland
Japan is very "in" here at the moment, with j-rock (hey, Dir en Grey, MUCC and D'espairs Ray all performed in Finland this summer), anime manga and all that jazz. Dramas are coming, I can feel it, but I doubt they'll ever make it as far as television.

I'm from North America--> United States--> California--> Orange County--> Fountain Valley / summer house in Malibu.
My house is in Fountain Valley but since it's summer I'm spending time at my family's summer house in Malibu. I love where I live
! The beach is right down the street and I go surfing almost everyday
. I love living here.. the whether is always great, there's always something to do, and everything is pretty accessible. The only thing I hate is traffic which is horrible! Anyone else living in OC?
Looking forward to next summer in London and maybe a winter vacation in Japan
!
