I guess that has to do with the fact that Japan (and korea..ect) use HD tv
at least I think they do....

The smaller version gets edited from the HD version

Wow, just... wow. I had high standards for this episode and they definitely did not disappoint me. Such an excellent episode! I cried too--

I was impressed by Nanba, Sano, and Umeda. They just all pulled through perfectly! Wow so good.

I'm so glad they portrayed my favorite manga arc well-- couldn't have asked for anything better!

i loved Sano, umeda, and Nakatsu before.... and i loved Shun... but now i have fall in love with them all

but... Nakao really made me fall in love with him.. i though he was so ugly... but he has grown on me...

But i still think ep 8 is the best ep....

Just so you guys know, the subbing for ep 9 is about to start, if I have enough time, I might finish early, but I can't promise anything.

Oh yeah, just a thought. I just finished watching Hana Yuri Dango and currently watching Hana Yuri Dango 2... I just want to say that I thought I always rule for male lead and female lead, by that I mean I'm ruling for Sano x Mizuki, even though I do like Touma. So when I watch Hana Yuri Dango, I thought I'll rule for Makino x Domyoji, even though I do like Shun-kun, but I was wrong! I found myself ruling for Makino x Rui.

So I guess I like Shun-kun more than I thought.

HYD season 1 i was rooting for domouji x makino, season 2 was makino x rui !!

Well guys i just send an email to hiro(nanaba) and shuns radio station so that he and toma get it tonight.
however tonights things is a telephone thing and after sending it i sat there for a while thinking wholey crap i might get a phone call from toma and shun tonight!!!!!! that would be cool and completely nerve racking at the same time but im sure they got lots of emails so its probably unlikely mine with be read but still........
i also tried to email maki but for some reason it wouldnt work so ill have to try another day.

this is what i like from the manga.. the story line is so more complete and not so fast paced like in the series...
but i couldn't really compare.. coz both stories has its own charm. now that i've watched it again and begin to appreciate it once more...

ohh all you ladies just love Shun bc he is the good looking quiet type... I only saw him in Hana Kimi and HYD but that seems to be his type of role... I need to see if he can acts crazy n hyper like Toma

btw who can not love Doumoji x Makino... the boy surely loves the girl to death but he has other responsibility in HYD2 like the lives of millions of people under his leadership who might lose their jobs and livelihood... I like how HYD2 made the series really suspenseful.....

Shun needs to take charge with his characters n take the girl n not hanging around being the quiet cool guy

lol, since HYD 1 I was rooting for Rui X Makino, I believe Rui loved her before he even left for France after Shizuka. He didn't deserve to be alone, Makino was the girl for him not for Domyoji.

I was always waiting for some funny moments with SanoxMizuki, but all I can see is that moments between Sano and Mizuki are serious and mostly either cool or warm, lol. I was waiting for a comedy, but the farther the story goes the serious it gets, I hoped that in the later episodes there will be as many or even more comedy than in the first eps, but seriously since like ep 7 or 6 I am a bit dissappointed... still I'm downloading the episodes and hoping for more comedy
but I don't see Shun playing a very comic person, he's more suited for cool roles such as Hanazawa Rui

I think that Ishigaki Yuma was a perfect choice as Tennouji, Hiro is great as Nanba, the actor for Oscar is just marvellous, he cracks me up almost always when he shows up,

Nakatsu, that's just tsubarashii, subarashiii, subarashii...
Kayashima Taiki = ghost boy- my favorite, he just keeps his cool facial expression all the time, expresionless.
Kagurazaka, I liked him, even though he's supposed to tease Sano and Mizuki, but Shirota Yuu is good as Kagurazaka... however I thought that they'll choose someone with spiky hair or with an iroquois, lol.
Nakao is good too, especially when he wears an eyeliner.
The Hibari Four are also great, but sometimes annoying.
Maki is good as Mizuki. Shun, well I think Sano's role wasn't a very big challenge for him, he's natural as Sano, as if he really was him.
