Where to purchase j-Dramas with Eng. subs?

Post by Castleman99 » Feb 26th, '24, 09:08

Sorry if I'm in the wrong spot! I'm a huge Agatha Christie fan, and only recently found out that a number of her stories have been adapted by various Japanese studios. I've seen that people have provided a number of fan subs, but where does one buy the DVD's preferably WITH English subtitles? I don't mind buying DVD's from all over as my player is universal, but I really would like to see how some of my favorite books have been adapted into the wonderful Japanese culture!
OR.....where can they be streamed? Hopefully without another subscription :| if I can switch my VPN and stream them, that'd be great, as long as I can get the English subtitles. Watching it from Netflix of Finland with Japanese dialogue and Finnish subs might be a bit of a slog. I can pronounce hockey player names fine, but that's it! Thanks in advance!!

Thank you, not much luck with stuff that shipped to the US, but oddly enough, an old TV show I was quite fond of about a deaf agent for the FBI is to this day popular in Japan. I wonder if I can get it from Amazon US, as shipping will be much cheaper, I had no idea it ever made it to DVD!!!
