I think Ayase Haruka is sooo cute and Sada Mayumi is also real pretty!!!

for me without a doubt - Horikita Maki. for her looks, her acting, her personna.

And, my god, her smile.

She convinces me that although perfection doesn't exist, something close to it still does. =)

Inoue Mao most definitely, and Ueno Juri. I love them both.

THE LIST GOES ON AND ON....

With so many lovely and charismatic ladies out there, my favorite is quite often the one i'm watching at the moment. That being said, my personal choices would include:

Hasagawa Kyoko: talented, gorgeous, and a very sexy, sly kind of smile.

Shinoharu Ryoko: possibly the best all around actress out there and surely the number one haken!!

Yukie Nakama: I wish that I could be one of Yankumi's "precious students.!"


And, saving the best for last:

Ueto Aya: Those lips, those eyes, that smile....If I were granted just three wishes, Aya would probably be involved in two of them!!

Without a doubt, Horikita Maki is the most charming actress to me. Well, at least in my eyes she is..

I used to like Horikita Maki the most, because I just thought she was super cute, even though I thought her acting was a bit weird in hana kimi, but she was great in other dramas like seito shokun or always sunset on third street. Still like her though, but my NUMBER 1 is UENO JURI -chaaan.

1) Ueno Juri - because her acting is just the best I have ever seen. Especially if you watch nodame and then move on to last friends. You'll be totally stunned and maybe shocked as well. I really respect her for her acting and great personality. She is like the opposite of Erika Sawajiri (personality wise xD ). Someone who is willing to change their look for a role to make it more realistic, that is what I call dedication (like her role as ruka with the super short hair and the over pluged eyebrows which made her look more serious and fierce.). And the bonus point is that she even looks great that way.I always pick my favourite actresses carefully. And Juri-chan really made it on my number 1!!!!

2) Horikita Maki - love her acting in seito shokun playing the bad girl. xD (well...not really bad....) Her acting seemed kinda stiff to me in hanazakari no kimitachi e but if you ask me whether she is better than ella chen then I would definitly say YES! xD But i so adore her in always sunset 1&2 . just great. luved her accent in there.

Takeuchi Yuko. Everyone else is a far off second not because there aren't anymore very charming actresses in Japan. It's just that Takeuchi, for me, is in the stratosphere with her smile and her laugh. I couldn't help but smile whenever she did one of her warm giggles in Bara no nai Hanaya. She always brings a bit of playfulness to all of her performances that is actually very difficult to pull off without looking forced or precious. But even when she's funny she balances it with a nice and controlled maturity.

Like I said, I find most of the performances by other Japanese actresses to be quite charming. I just can't think of any when compared to Takeuchi Yuko.

hmm...cant think of any more!! but all of these are really good! i love all of the dramas they are in but the ones shown are my favorites

• she is so cute in Trick, i lol`ed so much; so good in Gokusen I, II, III and in Shinobi. I request at leat 5 Oscars for her!

2.Ueto Aya

• I see her acting only in Attack no.1 and Attention please, but she is so cute when she smiles.

All the girls mentioned here certainly are charming, and I agree to a certain extent, but for me it takes a bit of seasoning and experience for a woman to develop real world class charm. I'm showing my age, but I think I've come to appreciate some things I didn't as a younger man. You simply can't leave Esumi Makiko and Kuroki Hitomi off this list. The years have brought them grace and elegance that no callow girl can match, IMO. They are both brilliant actresses and stunningly beautiful.
