Casting
Han Seung Yeon as Han Yoo Kyung
She is a woman who reflects on the future that lies ahead, and the direction her love and dreams are taking. Han Yoo Kyung lacks confidence in herself and her talent, she is divided between the work of her dreams and the reality of her circumstances that have made her make her dream of being a photographer a very acid road to travel.
Shin Hyun Soo as Cha Hyun Oh
He is a romantic man, who struggles with tenacity and audacity to fulfill his dreams, whether as a dancer or simply loving with passion. He has beautiful dance moves as well as a sensitivity and honesty that charms. Through his encounter with Yoo Kyung, Hyun Oh thinks of trying his destiny once again and struggles to leave behind the painful rejection of his father for dedicating himself to be a dancer.
“Twelve Nights” touches the subject on how we connect in life, how difficult it can be to fulfill your dreams and how a passionate love can change our lives and give us the strength to face bad circumstances with courage.
The drama that marks the reunion of Han Seung Yeon and Shin Hyun Soo for the third time in a drama set. Han Seung Yeon and Shin Hyun Soo worked together on “Age of Youth” and “Age of Youth 2“. The chemistry between them is obvious, they are two actors who know each other, they have already worked several times and as Shin Hyun Soo himself said, he could already see Han Seung Yeon and her thoughts as an actress, so it was much easier, comfortable and natural to work with her and deliver to the audience a good romantic couple that was meant to happen.
“Twelve Nights” also has a cast made up of Jang Hyun Sung (Doctors) as Baek Man, Yoo Joon Hong (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo) as Bang Gu Wol, Kim Do Wan (Seventeen) as Yoon Chan, Ye Soo Jung (Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds) as Lee Ri, among others. These characters pose complicated situations in our daily life and how they face them from their point of view.
This is a pre-produced drama that has 12 chapters, the sequence is somewhat slow, but I do find it an interesting story to follow.
